Well done on completion of a fine build, shows a lot of skill and patience. The table that you have used in the photo looks like a good place to display it, just the right size! Hello to everyone who has commented on my Spitfire and to anyone one else that may do so in the future!
I feel truly humbled by the replies to my posting of the photos and would like to say a big thank you for all the nice words, I feel overwhelmed a little as I was not expecting such a response.
So once again a big big thank you to everyone, not forgetting all those who helped me during construction. There really is a wealth of information, knowledge and skill out there and you, gentlemen, have proved it!
This kit was the largest and most most complex I have ever undertaken and I do feel proud of it and what it stands for and I will never forget the crews who lost their lives flying them.
So as an added tribute, the stand being the first, I salute the Royal Air Force, all other nations that flew the Spitfire and my model will always be a reminder.
It was worth all the hours.
Regards to all.
