Nice to see it in a Polish guise of fighter ace Jan Zumbach. I wonder if the Airfix prop motor can still be used with this kit..

That's a good price Graeme. Not the most detailed Spitfire kit and not the best fitting of parts, but at that price for a 1:24 model who cares!! ThumpUp

I was looking to fit one of these into the 1:24 Hawker Typhoon I`ve recently purchased.

The Airfix web site says this item is discontinued. It`s advertised to retail at approx £3.50, but everywhere I looked said out of stock. So I searched ebay and the only place with stock is 2ktechnologies who are a registered airfix retailer. Just depends if you want to pay £15.99CryingSee link below.

If discontinued then its possible the nose internal moulding may not be suited for the motor on the later Airfix 1/24 warbirds, though fitting a different motor (possibly geared) shouldn't pose too much of a problem to fit.

Oh I did laugh at the Motor cost from this chancer..better be quick, only has one left Laugh LOL Blink

2ktechnologies are only a few miles from me and although he has a fairly large shop and varied stock over 2 floors, his prices are a tad high.

Makes 2ktechnologies offer look really good. That joker is having a laugh, but definately not at my expense.
