How bout Nelson's 2IC's ship at Trafalgar. Cuthbert Collingwood gets very little press due to the heroics of Nelson, but bearing in mind that it was actually Collingwood that took over command whilst Nelson lay fataly wounded. In my view he is as much a hero as Nelson and what better way to pay tribute to him but to build his famous ship.

Hi Blackspear
I totally agree with you regarding your comments about Collingwood. I'm not sure whether another 1st Rate would look significantly different and justify one of the kit companies adding a new ship to their range.
What would be a good project might be to buy a Victory kit and use that as the basis for some kit bashing to build the Royal Sovereign. I must admit, this is just an idea it would need a lot of research to know how different the two ships were in practice.

Lol Victory is my very first build, so the cances of me "customising" another one is pretty remote. Still havent gotten over the cursing at everything thats gone wrong phase lol. My point of mentioning that particular ship was more of giving Collingwood some much deserved press and maybe bring him to the fore for a change, have to feel sorry for a the guy to a point, he pretty much commanded the fleet throughout the battle as Nelson was hit fairly early on, and although he followed Nelson's game plan, he did execute it brilliantly and really should have had far more recognition.
