While away for a couple of days with work I decided I would take this with me to work on in the hotel when I had nothing else to do. Ive got to the stage of starting to added the stringers which is really helping with the strength, its also helped to straighten everything out davetwin attached the following image(s):

It's coming along very nicely but how did you manage to transport something so delicate without damaging it. Graeme

Wow that does look fantastic and very delicate! How do the parts stay in place, are you using an adhesive or does it clip together?

Looking very good. Really surprised at how small some of the parts are but so adds to the amount of detail you can get into this one. Happy Modelling

Thanks all for stopping by and commenting It is very delicate and I have bent the frames many times although it's all starting to get a lot less fragile now with the addition of the stringers and other parts to the frames. With regards to transporting it, I just put it in one of those takeaway curry containers with lots of kitchen tissue, it survived with no damage

There are small notches in each parts connection point to align them. Once the parts are together you need to glue them as they will not stay together on their own. I am using regular CA glue, Ive got one of those glue applicators which I dip into a pool of CA and then tab the blob onto the join, I then use sharpened cocktail stick to kind of rub the glue down the join and take away any excess

Ive been on 12 hour night shifts all this week including this evening but I did bring this with me to plod along with in the quiet times. I havent got loads done but its still progress If you look carefully you'll see that the flaps work All the stringers are no attached too which has made the whole thing quite solid. davetwin attached the following image(s):

You certainly need to keep your wits about you with the sheer amount of parts and detail in that one. Looking looking good Dave and its a lovely clean build you have there Happy Modelling
