What a stunning plane Dave well done on an outstanding build regards Phil COMING SOON =1/72 Italeri diorama`s Battle for the Reichstag and Stalingrad battle at the tractor factory 1/16 Trumpeter King Tiger with loads of extras ON THE GO= refurbishment of 1/25 Tamiya tiger 1 , amt Star trek kits and space 1999 models

Hi a very nice model there , looks great cheers mick. Builds hms victory, suzuki gsx 1300 R hayabusa, honda C B 750, lamborghini countach L P 500 S, tamiya 1/16 rc full option tiger 1 tank, built, Mclaren M P 4 - 23. Occre london tram, Stash.airfix 1/24 mosquito. Diag Virginia schooner, tamiya 1/6 honda 750, tamiya 1/35 famo, tamiya 1/35 flak 88.

Thank you all for your comments I'm already looking at my entry for the 2017 build and deciding if I should go for another aircraft. Still got a while to decide yet.

Really is a nice finished build Dave, the paintwork has just the right amount of shine to it and the squadron markings add some nice contrast in colour too Steve

Hi Dave Nice model, nice finish! The phantom was based at RAF Bruggen, Germany. I was living there (as a kid)and have fond memories of this aircraft. We had a velux type window so when the aircraft were flying around I had a good view!! Those were the days My brother-in-law made a 1/24th scale Phantom (at least I think he did) and would love to make one but cant find it now!! Regards. Alan

Great build. It makes me quite nostalgic as the Phantom was the first model kit I made when I was about 10.

Thanks Alan & Michael Alan, this one is based on the Air Defence rapid response Phantom of 19 Squadron that was based at RAF Wildenrath when my dad was stationed there. He was actually in the Army, 21 Signals. I have lots of found memories of seeing these when I was a kid
