Hi All I did say I wasnt going to add any crew as such to the build but then I came across Deans Marine's figures in 1/24th. So I ordered a captain and first mate for the bridge area. The Captian is a solid casting whilst the other figure has separate arms and legs, all the figures available are like the above. As with all castings they will need cleaning up before painting and some work done to make them look more German 2nd WW. Hi All More done on the bow area, the ammunition racks and bow gun bucket cover have been scratch built from plasticard. The 9 twenty round magazines were all cast in resin using the magazine from the 20mm bow gun as a master for the mould. These were all painted then added to the deck along with the two boat hooks, the forward 20mm gun is almost finished just some more paint to go on. The first facet of the windscreen has been added to the bridge area. More soon.
