I have just completed the first side of the Victory with the gun ports. Everything is now sanded but there are a few small areas where the finish is below level.

What filler can I use to bring these back to flush? I am painting my ship but I don't want the painted areas to look any different from those filled and painted.

Any advise on the best to use please.
You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

I think Tomick referred to some plain wood filler, have a look around B&Q or any DIY shop, build it up in thin layers, let it dry and lightly sand back, then add another until it blends.

You have completed the first side? did you not do both at the same time?

Thanks Zeptrader

Yes, I did both sides up to the point where Tomick says to do one side at a time working out the wood strip widths. I have about 8 strips on the hull on both sides to complete yet.
