Hi everyone, I have a confession to make. I have been steadily working away at my SOTS for the last year and a half. Many times I've thought about starting a build diary and just never got around to it. I think it's probably because there are so many exquisite examples on the forum that I felt mine wasn't worthy. Anyway, I thought it was high time I plucked up the courage and posted a few pics on progress to date. I must admit it's been an enjoyable experience up to now although I know that I'm not far away from those dreaded ratlines Anyway enjoy some pics from sunny South Africa Regards Steve October 2015 Present Build: San Fransisco II, 1/32 Lancaster Bomber

Thanks Garth for the kind words. Not been much progress to really show at the moment, I'm basically putting all the blocks on the cannons.....should have done them when they came up in each magazine, now I'm doing them all in "mass production" and it's quite tedious Will add some more pics once I've done them all. Hi Steve, Your Sots build is very worthy of mention and don`t let anyone tell you otherwise. It`s . Just one very minor thing that may be worth a mention to you. It seems that the doors at the bow, where the bowsprit starts, needs a dividing line between them. Otherwise it looks like one door with hinges on both sides. (A bit difficult to open LOL). Your not the first or last who has done/ will do this, but thought I`d mention it whilst you could still get to it. Keep up the good work and the updates. Hi Steve, I also saved my Victory guns and did them in one big batch. I think that it is a good idea to do that rather. I'm sure its quicker in the long run. Good luck!!! Looking forward to their pics. Kind regards, Garth "Measure twice, cut once!!!" Finished!!! HMS Victory, Current build: Black Pearl. On hold: Bismarck, Golden Hind, Flying Scotsman, Victory Cross Section, SOTS, Tiger 1. Wish list: USS Constitution.
