Okay,
So I bought this kit from eBay, £150.00 buy it now, offered £125.00 and was accepted!
I will post a picture of the kit when it arrives (Wednesday) and I plan on buying loads of little goodies for it to make it super detailed! I promise this build I will keep you guys informed every step of the way!
This will be good practice while I continue collecting the 1:8 MP4/4
I would imagine all the detail up parts are going to cost me a fortune!
Wish me luck!

Hi mark. great to see that you are going to do this build. I recently acquired the same kit and have been adding some of the detail extras to the set before starting. (I want to finish my Senna 4/4 before I get going on this super kit) Good luck and I'll be watching with interest. Malc.

A few updates I have done the floor and the front wing, used carbon decals and very very tiny bolts on the wing! Thoughts and comments welcome :)

The 1:12 Tamiya kits are superb and with all the upgrades available they build into museum quality displays. Looking forward to this. Very nice start.

I really like it , those tiny bolts look they might have been a nightmare to fit, great job

Hi Mark, that's a good start ! What size of bolt did you use in that front wing? It looks really fiddly. Malc.

New goodies arrived! Thanks to Hiroboy.com Also here are some additional pics of the undertray, I used earth colours to replicate the wood, sanded them down (earth and sand mixed together on different parts of the floor to give more depth then used a colour wash and sanded down

Very nice work on the undertray, it actually looks like wood thats been scraped along tarmac at high speed!
