Hi All Well after many months of scratch building some headaches and pure joy as I watched this come together and can now say the build part is over apart from painting the two figures. I still have to fit the R/C but that shouldnt take long. A few notes:- The ships bell is now fitted at the rear of the bridge area where the helmet brackets are situated. If your wondering where the anchor is well they would not carry one when on patrol so all you can see is the rope and its shackle on the deck. The captain is first shown in the main observation station and then on his bridge. If you feel like taking something like this on then good luck but be aware that all you get is a fibreglass hull and a plan of the S80 type with the old style bridge if you want the later skullcap bridge you will need to source plans. The build will include scratch building everything from the deck up but I did also buy a fittings kit for it that included the guns, torpedo's ect. Would I do it again and the answer is yes there is nothing more satisfying than creating parts just using a plan and some bits of wood and plasticard. Hope you have enjoyed watching this come together as much as I have enjoyed building the beast. The last picture is of the fibreglass hull from right at the start of the build Andy arpurchase attached the following image(s): Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .
