Hi everyone, thanks for looking in and your comments.BigGrin
The Houchin has had the control panels fitted now, and I have been finishing off some of the smaller parts, undercarriage, canopy, firestreak missiles and the wheel chocks, also the ejector seat needed a touch up, the end is in sight!LOL BigGrin

Well thats it, I am calling this done! It was a fun build, but I have to say Airfix will not be a choice I would make again, although I have some in my stash that I will build as I have them. The fit of the parts was poor, instructions very vague in more than one place and the decals are really brittle. But considering its my first aircraft since I was a teenager, I am pleased with it. Here is a teaser for now, I will post better pics up later. Thank you to all that looked in and commented, its by no means my best build, but it was a learning experience after so many years, and I would quite happily build another aircraft.

Sad that it's another modeller switched off from Airfix, but hardly surprising by comparison of other kit standards being set. But what a great end result of one of my fav aircraft, well done and good luck with the BotY 2016 entry Cool

I know someone near me who would be interested in looking at this one, as they are obsessed with this plane, along with the now retired Vulcan.

Nice build Cool
