Hi All, Just a small update. Fitted some of the sail control lines. I drilled the holes in the pins on the cockpit pin rails – all went well until the second last one. It literally exploded!!!  Perhaps I should have strengthened them with some epoxy. Other than that, I am really enjoying the rigging process. Nice work on the Rigging Garth. I don't like the rigging stage as you can spend 5 hours on an area and not look much different. But all them hours add up and eventually you have a masterpiece.
Well done on your build so far.

Hi All, Completed Issue 105. Total time 5.5 hours. All that was left was to fit the lifts and the braces to the mainstay. I have noticed that on some builds, there has been a problem where the blocks attached to the mainstay have slipped. To prevent this, I sewed my first one to the mainstay and attached the other one behind it. This should prevent any slipping. Hi All, Made a start on issue 106. I decided to fit both the fore top sail and the top gallant sail to their yards at the same time. (I think I will do the same with all the main mast yards and sails) I have been reffering to the official build on Youtube quite extensivly lately. Thanks to all involved, it has been an invaluble source of information and certianly compliments the magazine instructions. Things are getting a little tricky with all the rigging that has been fitted – it feels like my hands have doubled in size. Some thoughts here: 1. Once your hand is in-between this ‘birds nest’ of lines – NO SUDDEN MOVEMENTS. Should something drop or fall or even your building start to disintegrate around you. Take a deep breath and using SLOW and calculated movements – withdraw your hand. 2.Be very careful when cutting the off-cut lines – make absolutely sure that no other line has crept into the scissors mouth.
