Wow, that looks fantastic Alec!! Drool Cool

Nice work on rectifying the gap in the wing fillet panel, and I must say that the whole airframe looks so much better without the thousands of tiny screws that are suggested for affixing the various panels? It's almost a shame to cover up that beautiful aluminium finish with paint!!

Very well done!! ThumpUp

You've done a really great job with remaking those panels, the difference is like night and day. Will look fantastic once you get the paint down Cool

Hi Everyone,

I'm held up as I didn't order the primer paint soon enough from Sovereign Hobbies. My fault.

So I decided just for the hell of it to have a dummy run full assembly, glad that I did.
The connecting piece from the stand hadn't been drilled so measured the hole centres, drilled the holes, put it together and the connecting piece fouled the air intake big time (who's the dummy?) Modified the hole locations and all is well. I thought you might like to see the result.

Still held up so decided to modify the seat.

Aluminium sheet for the seat and quadrant, piece of leather from an old shoe for the back, cocktail stick for the lever and straps as per the build instructions. Supported on the original back supplied with the kit.

Hi Alec,

That's different, it's amazing what a bit of thought can do, I like it very well done.

Also the ratchet assembly is spot on and look's realistic to the Spit seat, great stuff, any more bit's to add in the pipe line, I will be adding a cartridge rack to the front of mine.

Again very well built Alec.

Regards

Trev.

Nice work on the seat Alec, looks cool!! Seems to be a trend for improving the look of the seat with this kit amongst those building it but it is a very visible part so always worth the extra effort in making it look better - very well done. Cool ThumpUp

Thank you Trev, Dave and Kev for looking in and your comments.

Trev I have no other planed amendments, I noticed on some photos a row of holes in front of the seat but didn't know what they were for or the size that they should be so left them alone. I guess that is the cartridge rack that you speak of, but cartridges for what?

Hello Alec,

The cartridge rack would be for Signals.
