Hi All.
I've just picked my 1:1 Mustang up from the bodyshop today, it's been in there for 3 months.
A lady who I shall kindly describe as not exactly sharp sighted (she ran a red light on a local roundabout and I T boned her) caused rather a lot of damage as I bounced off her 2009 Ford Fiesta.
The car's had a new offside front wing, new front bumper, various pieces of trim, 2 new tyres, a full front end geometry set up and lot's of paint. They also took care of a bad scrape (self inflicted) on the drivers side rear lower quarter which had been there a couple of years.
To say I'm chuffed with the results would be an understatement. It has now spurred me on to tidy up the slightly scruffy engine bay which is now covered in sanding dust from the bodyshop.
The more I look at the car I realise it's an almost identical colour to the Shelby Mustang we're all building, (wish it was a ShelbyBigGrin )

Thanks Guys, the biggest problem I have now is the parts that weren't painted Blushing they really show up now, especially the roof.
Come the warmer weather I'm looking to get a vinyl wrap for the roof with a suitable motif on it, I'm thinking of the skull and crossbones from the Copperhead Road album by Steve Earle.
