Issue 46
Dashboard and fuse cover

Dashboard
Fuse Cover
Screws 2.3x3mm (MP03)
Locate the hole in the dashboard and the matching post of the fuse cover, then insert the post on the fuse cover into the hole in the dashboard, making sure that the recess in the cover is positioned at the bottom.
Press the cover firmly into place then turn the dashboard over and secure the cover with a 2.3x3mm screw.
You will fix the dashboard to the front floor and kick panels in a later issue. For now, test-fit it to familiarise yourself with its installation.
The dashboard will be secured to the floor at its rear, where the two tabs fit over the posts.

The stickers are identified as A-G with the small dials from left to right as A, B & C. The large dials from left to right as D & E. The Shelby GT sticker as F and the remaining sticker as G.
Using the tip of a knife start by lifting sticker A from the sheet and placing it onto the top right circle on the dashboard. Once the sticker is in position, press it flat against the dashboard.
Place sticker B, C, D and E in the same fashion. Sticker B is placed in the middle small circle with sticker C being placed in the right small circle. Sticker D is then placed in the left large circle with sticker E being placed in the right large circle.
Now take the instrument glasses, and note that the two larger ones are thicker than the others. Fit the glasses into the back of the dashboard frame. Then fit the frame into the dashboard. The glasses should be sandwiched between the two parts.
Take sticker G and place it in the centre of the dashboard trim. Then lower the dashboard trim into the recess in the dashboard frame, inserting the three posts into the holes in the dashboard. Tighten a 2.3x4mm screw into each of the three holes in the back of the dashboard to secure the glasses, frame and trim.
Take the Shelby badge and apply sticker F to the badge. Align the pins on the rear of the badge with the holes in the matching recess in the dashboard trim, and push the badge into place. Holding the badge in place tighten a 1.8x4mm screw into each of the two holes to secure it in place.

Insert the posts on the rear of the radio into the corresponding holes in the dashboard. Secure the radio with two 2.3x4mm screws.
Remove the left gauge stickers from the sticker sheet and apply it to the left hole on the gauge pod mount. Insert the right sticker from the sticker sheet into the right hole on gauge pod mount. Now take the gauge glasses and place onto the gauge pod mount, over the stickers.
Place the gauge pod onto the mount, over the glasses, and secure it with a 1.8x4mm screw. Then apply the remaining sticker from the sticker sheet to the gauge pod, between the two gauges.
Insert the tab on the gauge pod mount through the hole in the bottom of the dashboard, below the radio. Then fix the gauge pod mount into place with a 1.8x4mm screw.
Take the glove box and align the three holes in the tabs of the glove box with the holes in the rear of the dashboard. Secure the glove box in place with three 2.3x4mm screws starting with the lowest hole.
Take the glove box lid and insert the pin into the hole in the dashboard then push the pin at the other end of the lid into the hole at the other end of the glove box. Check that the glove box lid opens and closes properly.
Align the dashboard with the front floor so that the two holes in the tabs projecting from the rear of the dashboard align with the two posts on the front floor. Then secure the dashboard to the floor with two 2.3x3mm screws.

Issue 49
Rear floor and front seatbelts

Seatbelts
Align the pin and tab at the bottom of the anchorage with the corresponding holes in the rear floor ensuring that the bulge on the anchorage is on the outside, then push the pin and tab into the holes. Repeat this process for the other side.
Align the holes in the rear floor with the corresponding holes in your front floor assembly. Half-tighten two 2.3x4mm screws into the two holes on one side of the floor. Tighten them just enough to hold the two parts together. Now fit another two screws into the holes on the other side of the floor, then fully tighten all four screws.
Position one of the seatbelts with the Cobra badge on the buckle facing upwards. Then take the metal end of the belt and place it into the slot in the rear floor. Pull the metal end through the slot and place the hole in the metal end onto the pin on the rear floor.
Take the other seatbelt, with its Cobra badge facing upwards, insert its metal end into the slot on the other side of the rear floor. As before, press the hole in the metal end onto the pin on the floor to secure it.

Issue 50
Front and rear floor mats

Rear Floor Mats
Take one of the front mats and align the pins on the underside with the holes in the passenger side of the front floor. Push the pins of the mat into the holes in the floor. Then fit the second front mat into place on the driver side in the same way as the first.
Align the pins on the underside of one of the rear mats with the holes in the passenger side of the rear floor. Then fit the second rear mat in the same way as the first.
Take the passenger seat from Issue 20 and align the two posts on the underside of the seat with the two holes in the cabin floor. Then lower the seat into position.
Turn the assembly over while holding the seat in place. Secure the seat with two 2.3x4mm screws supplied in Issue 49.
Insert the posts on the underside of the driver seat from Issue 5 into the holes in the cabin floor. As before, secure the seat with two 2.3x4mm screws from Issue 49.
Place the free ends of the seat belts onto the buckles.
