Rear seat base


Parts content:

Rear Seat Base
Screws 2.3x4mm

Place your cabin floor assembly upside down, and hold the rear seat base behind the seats. Align the holes in the rear seat base with the posts on the cabin floor then insert the posts on the cabin floor into the holes in the rear seat base.

Loosely secure the seat base to the floor by gently screwing a 2.3x4mm screw into one of the holes next to the transmission tunnel. Then insert a second screw loosely into the hole on the other side of the transmission tunnel. Now loosely fix a screw into each of the two outer holes of the seat base.

The central part of the seat base has a tab with a hole in it that fits over a corresponding pin on the cabin floor. Carefully fit the hole in the tab onto the pin, Then tighten all four of the screws securing the seat base to the cabin floor.

Issue complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a labelled bag.

Rear luggage platform

Rear Luggage Platform
Screws 2.3x4mm

Place your cabin floor assembly upside down, and hold the rear luggage platform behind it, the holes at the front of the luggage platform will fit over the posts on the rear seat base.

Place the holes of the luggage platform onto the corresponding posts of the support. Now tighten a 2.3x4mm screw into the central hole in the platform. Tighten a 2.3x4mm screw into each of the outer holes of the platform to secure it properly.

The luggage platform will be behind the rear seat backrest when the seat is installed.

If you place the cabin floor onto the chassis, you will find that the luggage platform is positioned above the rear axle.

Issue complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a labelled bag.

Left rear trim panel

Left Rear Trim Panel
Courtesy Light
Screws 2.3x4mm
Rear Seat Back Latch

Line up the left rear trim panel and the courtesy light, you’ll see that the light has a D-shaped shaft that matches the D-shaped hole in the panel, once the shaft is aligned with the hole push the light into the panel. While holding the light in place, secure it with a 2.3x4mm screw from the rear.

Now insert the rear seat back latch into the corresponding recess in the panel. Turn the panel over, and secure the latch with a 2.3x4mm screw.

Place your cabin floor assembly upside down, then hold the left rear trim panel upside down next to it. Align the holes in the lugs on what is now the panel’s upper edge over the posts on the underside of the floor. Insert a 2.3x4mm screw into each of the three holes to secure the rear trim panel to the cabin floor assembly ensuring all the screws are tight.

Issue complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a labelled bag.

Upper left rear trim panel

Upper Left Rear Trim Panel
Left Ventilation Grille
Screws 2.3x4mm
Screw 1.8x4mm

Align the posts on the rear of the left ventilation grille with the holes in the upper left rear trim panel and push the posts into the holes. Tighten a 2.3x4mm screw into each of the holes in the rear of the trim panel to secure the grille in place.

Place your cabin floor assembly on its right-hand side so that the left-hand side is uppermost. Hold the upper left rear trim panel and align the tabs on it with the posts on the left rear trim panel that you fitted in Issue 53.

Place the three holes in the projecting tabs at the bottom of the upper left rear trim panel over the posts at the top of the left rear trim panel. Secure the upper left rear trim panel two 2.3 x 4mm screws in the holes furthest from the seats.

Insert the 1.8x4mm screw into the hole tucked into the corner nearest to the sear and tighten to finish securing the upper left rear tirm panel in place.

Issue complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a labelled bag.

Rear cabin partition

Rear Cabin Partition
Screws 2.3x4mm

Retrieve your cabin floor assembly. Place it on its side, and hold the rear cabin partition next to it, aligning the two posts of the partition with the two holes on the side of the cabin.

Push the posts into the holes making sure that the rounded ends of the posts are fully inserted into the holes.

Lift the lip of the partition over the posts on the rear luggage platform, aligning the holes of both. Use a 2.3x4mm screw to secure the partition. Half-tighten the screw at this point. Use two more 2.3x4mm screws to fix finish attaching the partition. Half-tighten the screws at first, and then fully tighten all three that you have inserted.

Issue complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a labelled bag.
