So I am trying to get a price but I think I found a company that will replicate the sword at half size. Blade needs to be thicker than 1/2 size but everything else would be to scale they say.
Any details exist on Date's sword?

So they quoted me around $200 for a hand forged hand made Katana in 1:2 scale with all the trimmings. I'm going to be ordering one in a month or so but if anyone is interested drop me a note and I will put you in touch with them. Nevr bought from them don't have any financial interest in them but their full size swords get good reviews in swordforums and the like
