Looking good Greyhawk.Enamels take forever to dry especially if apply a fairly thick coat.I use a food dehydrator to speed up the cure of the enamel paint.Works a charm on metal.

Yeah, Humbrol gave something like 24 hours as drying time. There's no hurry though. The gratings are not going to be placed yet.

Yea dont believe that drying time Greyhawk.Enamels cure instead of drying and I wait at least a week before handling them.I used testor gold enamel on my Time machine .I used 3 fairly thin coats and waited 10 days to handle it and still got a fingerprint when I touched it.I couldnt use my dehydrator trick because the parts were resin and would warp with the heat of the dehydrator.

Good news, it's dry after about 20 hours. Only it's gloss instead of flat.

Gonna give it a few more days and then apply some Mattcote.
