For a kit that has been fighting you and with some poor fitting of parts you're certainly doing a sterling job

BridgeI attached the bridge to the island and proceeded to attach the section joining the bridge to the tower. The added etch stairs did not fit correctly with the gun detector base so I had to carve some of the material off to get it too fit. michael.rolph attached the following image(s):

Deck detailsThe final etch railing were added and the remaining deck details glued in place. The chain guides were partically annoying as they had to be folded in half before being glued in place. I lost several to the carpet monster, so I am missing a row at the back of the plate. michael.rolph attached the following image(s):

It's a shame you had so many fit issues with the kit, you've done a great job producing a fantastic finished model

A nice end result from what was a tricky kit from the looks of it. Well done. As just reward, you now have your Red medal for a completed build. Congratulations Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. davetwin wrote:It's a shame you had so many fit issues with the kit, you've done a great job producing a fantastic finished model The kit quality has certainly put me off buying Revell kits in the future.

I must confess, I am not a big fan of battleships...building them at least. But I do like to see them completed. I especially love the detail on the heli's, is a nice touch
