My dockyard is reopening. yippee!!! I have had a hernia op and folks its sucks. cant do anything. i didnt realise how much it can affect you. but as im now finally on the way to recovery, (i can sit upright)i can now continue to work on my build. been out of action for a long time. cant wait to finish the fairing. Yes fairing. im so far behind you all i almost gave up. I must say the staff at rochdale hospital were catering to my every whim. congrats to them and all the staff there. the staples come out of me on sat. no stitches. staples. i look like frankenstein. in the morn i sound like him as well . i dont know what weapons will be used in ww3 but ww4 will be sticks and stones.

Welcome back piot007, its not a race, infact being behind allows you to pick up more ideas from the great team in the forum, plus Tomick who is well ahead ( and rightly so ) allows you to see whats ahead. I think the balance is great! good to hear you can situp and start again Cheers MWG MWG BUILD DIARIES: HMS VICTORY, SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS, SAN FRANCISCO II, HMS HOOD, HMS ENDEAVOUR LONGBOAT, HMS VICTORY X-SECTION, 007 DB5, NISSAN GTR, CUTTY SARK, RB7, AKAGI, BARK HMS ENDEAVOUR, HUMMER H1, MITSUBISHI ZERO.

I think you'll find we are all at different stages of our builds(family and work commitments), but there is a definite advantage to being behind as we get to see possible pitfalls and solutions. I personally think my build will stretch much further than the span of the publication. Jimmy L.
current builds : Lancaster 1/32 (Hachette) Revell USS Kearsarge Titanic Lifeboat
I started off with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

Welcome back piot007, glad to hear that you are on the road to full recovery mate.. I have been nursing my wife who has a back injury for the past eight weeks and am well behind with the build myself, but as has been mentioned, it gives us a chance to see what pit falls crop up in with our shipmates builds, how they overcame their problems and possible ways of avoiding them...anyway, hope you get better quickly... Current Builds: Deagostini HMS Victory: Deagostini HMS Sovereign of the seas. Completed Builds: Del Prado: HMAS Bounty: Hachette: RMS Titanic: Del Prado: Cutty Sark...
