found this site which sells copper foil sheets. The sheet size is 300mmx215mmx0.1mm and comes in a pack of two sheet for £6.75. The web address is www.fredaldous.co.uk.

You can also get a roll of copper foil from Tiranti. I think it works out slightly cheaper.

The problem with buying foil is how to cut it into regular sized rectangles. It will cut with scissors but they turn the edges so the pieces are no longer flat.

My solution was to use an extra fine blade with a proxxon flatbed circular saw.

This cuts the foil without curling and the saw guide can be set to the appropriate dimensions.
