One thing I've gotta say, this is an awesome kit to learn how to deal with PE. Lot's of fiddly bits, but more forgiving than actual PE. You can actual make and correct errors. Case in point I first messed up this little bit where one has to stack a lot of tiny discs on top of each other while not gluing them to the central axis and getting the whole thing somewhat straight and in line with each other. First try went..... poorly, dropped the whole thing in a vat of acetone, pulled it apart again, made it correctly. This is fun, no joke, this is actual fun. Fun fact: at 5% of building phases we are at 90 parts already.

Finished the pedals so the pilot can put the pedal to the metal and win a medal. After a short break work will continue with the seats.

Excellent work on the pedal assembly, it looks amazing and nicely detailed I know first hand how fiddly it is stacking up bits of PE like you had to with the discs, it's not easy

It's good training for hand eye coordination though. Had a productive week end and put together the pilot seat shell and its underframe. The little slabs of wood will be used as seat pads.

Stuka 11: Painted the seat and put in the leather pads Seat belts were made and painted from very very thin brass. All the buckles and so on are single parts flexibly installed so they work pretty much like in real life.

They are really delicate (that's 34 parts for these 6 belts), but the material is thankfully very nice to work with.

Thanks everyone. They were actually a joy to build, the whole process just sounded way more intimidating in the instructions. 12: The rear gunners seat. I'd be a bit miffed to have to sit on this wire frame thingy while the pilot rules from his Leather Throne. Fun fact: You may be wondering how one would actually sit on this or the pilots seat. The parachutes were belted to the rear of the uniform and doubled as pillows. Sounds weird, but that's how it was. Over 200 parts now and we're not even at 10%

Excellent construction even though it does look like it would be truly uncomfortable to sit on.... Regards Alan

This is a stunning kit and you are making a fine job of it. There`s that much brass in it, that the amount of scrap you end up with may be worth selling. Keep up the good work. Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

Regards delboy271155 (Derek) No joke, I did look into this, but it's not worth it. The scrap would maybe fetch 6 EUR if i'm lucky.
