Does anyone have any recommendations for what color to use to match the stock color on the hull plates? I painted the starboard mandible with Tamiya AS-20 and realized I think I might actually want to just stick with the base color of the parts and then just weather and touch up the blast marks, and colored patches instead of painting the whole thing. I could always go back and repaint the completed ship later if I change my mind, but for the time being I need to find a color match for the stock base coat.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There was a lot of testing of various colour combinations on the Official Build The Millennium Falcom forum back when the part works launched. If I remember correctly there wasn't an exact match found using just one colour and required mixing a paint to match. There was however someone that made up an airbrush ready water based acrylic paint that matched the out of box panel colour almost exactly. You can get them here http://www.starwars-doa....ium-falcon-sets-2-c.asp
I haven't tried them mayself so can't comment on the actual finish but they seemed to be regarded quite highly by the build community If you do go for the complete respray then Model Space do a complete paint set with all the colours you need http://www.model-space.c...m-falcon-paint-set.html
There are also videos on YouTube that take you through the painting process if you're not sure about the complete respray Part 1 https://youtu.be/t-Yaj2wlHS4
