Looks very nice indeed.

Need to save a few more pennies BigGrin but must admit the detail is very appealing so could see myself treating myself later in the year.

Hope it continues to go well.
Happy Modelling

Moving along very nicely Andy. Are you predrilling for those tiny screws? There are a few in my TIpo suspension and I worry the screws will break if I try to screw them in.

This build is setting the bar very high for the 2017 build competition.

BigGrin Thanks for looking in and your comments both of youCool

@Tony there great kits but choose the one you really want as its a big outlay but worth every penny.

@Carl I pre drill every hole, the screws are 1.3mm so a 1mm drill will be fine . As the screws provided are not self tappers I also use a 1.3 mm tap to ensure they fit. More work yes but it ensures a good fit and no mishaps.
Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

I dont know whats impressing me more with this, the sheer level of detail or the fact that with all that detail everything looks like it fits together perfectly Drool

Of course craftmanship is 50% of that Cool

I've been looking at the MFH kits for a few months now, still gutted that they do the 2008 Mclaren but as a simplified version, seemingly no interior engine detail at all.

Great work thus far Cool

BigGrin Hi Dom

The parts in the kit are a good fit but some fettling for fit and clean up is needed like removing small burrs and casting mould lines although you need to be careful not to overdo the clean up as the metal parts are quite soft and you can easily remove to much.

You will also need a good few drills as every hole for a screw or metal peg needs to drilled and its a good idea to tap any hole that a screw will be fitted into aswell.

BigGrin Thanks for looking in and your comments everyone.

Interesting stuff on the link and there was a standard yellow one available tooLOL Blink I know Shelby had the first Cobra painted a different colour every time he showed it off to the press for a while to give the impression they were selling like hot cakes. Shelby was a very clever marketer of his cars.
