I have a few (30 ish) photos of the Bounty from when she visited my home port of Blyth in 2007. Loads of detail, some of it close up. Would they be of interest to anyone. I could slap them in here if you wish, or you could go into Google Earth, (if you have it), spin the globe to the Pacific then zoom in to Adamstown on Pitcairn Islamd. Once there wander round until you find a little blue square which is a link to a photo or photos posted by Andrew Christian. Click to open the photo, then click on his name and it opens a link to photos he's posted. One of which is of the Bounty's remains. You'll see that I've given him the photos mentioned above, they're under my nickname 'Captain Pugwash'. If that's too longwinded, then I could just post them here, if you like. Regards Bob

Hi Jonny, (and anyone else interested). Sadly I've tried every way I know to insert the photos, but so far, to no avail. I'm not one to give up however, after all, I am proposing to build the Victory! Watch this space. Bob P.S. Computers are NOT my forte. File Attachment(s): Captain Pugwash attached the following image(s):

Hi Colin, My pleasure mate, but can I ask, did you manage to open all those links? Being a relative newbie, I didn't know this was how it worked. I was expecting a load of photos, but on reflection, this method saves web space. I wish I had access to these photos when I did my Bounty. Bob

I built the Del Prado version of the Bounty, and believe me, it was a real pleasure to build it, and if they released it again in weekly parts, I will definitely be building it again.. John Current Builds: Deagostini HMS Victory: Deagostini HMS Sovereign of the seas. Completed Builds: Del Prado: HMAS Bounty: Hachette: RMS Titanic: Del Prado: Cutty Sark...

You say you've been building model ships for years, therefore I shouldn't think the instructions would give you too many problems. I've been building DeAgostini's ships for some time myself and wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of them to any serious modeller. In addition, if you maintain a build diary on the forum then it would help the more experienced modellers on the forum to render assistance to you should you need it. Look forward to seeing some of your work..... Regards Alan

Hi Alan
thanks for the reply, yes I am fine with any instructions, i currently building the US Constellation for Artesania and its black and white instructions:-) I just love the detail and everything on these Deagostini models.
I tried contacting Model space since Tuesday asking them if they can ship to South Africa and other questions but no replies :-(
Would love to buy one of the model ships. May I ask which ships you have build and which one you like the most? Not sure which one I want to get.
Thanks Charmaine
