cheers guys thankyou for the welcome, i think anyone who is really interested in this build can`t go wrong by joining this forum, a lot of good tips and i believe there is going to be lot of customization by a good few of you guys.

Hello all, Just joined up as I too, am building an R2. I'm looking forward to reading all the other build threads - and starting my own shortly. I plan, however, on giving him a complete makeover, paintwise. Possibly R2-Q5, the Imperial astromech seen on the Deathstar, or C2-B5 from "Rogue One". Both are black coloured Imperial driods that wouldn't require any physical changes to the actual partwork, just some paint. Current Builds
