Or 'micro snips' as some call them, are a useful tool for clean cutting of rigging twine such as when rigging the cannon at 49/50, which give a very clean cut without fraying the ends; readily available via eBay/CMB for a few pounds, though be mindful that some versions are of mild steel and other's of stainless steel and therefore won't rust!
