Hi folks. :)

I've been gone for a while, busy with other things. But I have been building while I was away. I was inspired by stevie_o's awesome Orca builds (plus Jaws is one of my all time favorite movies), so I made an attempt at a scratch build of the Orca myself. I used Pat Tritle's plans, and modified them a bit as I went along. Anyway, I had a blast. Hope you like it. :)

Thanks for looking :)

Thanks guys. The little bits of clutter were probably the most fun part for me. :) I even found an image for the label on the beer can that Quint was drinking and made a few cans to scatter around the deck. Oh, and Hooper's styrofoam cup too. Heheheh.

I want to say the scale is in the neighborhood of 1/12. It's hard to find any info on the boats actual dimensions but I think that's pretty close. For a few of the props I bought 1/12th scale dollhouse stuff which seemed pretty nearly correct. I essentially used Pat Tritle's drawings at 1:1 ratio.
