]I have tried to find a subject about this but no luck. I finished stage 40 and when I moved to 41 the side panels are no where near correct. I am deconstructing that stage as I am sure will be a nightmare later if I don't fix it now. Maybe someone can tell me my mistake and how to repair? I am guessing some cobbling may be required. No idea how to add picture. Any help is appreciated

Hi, it's very difficult to determine if and where you've gone wrong from the pics you have supplied. First thing I would ask you to do is to resize your pics to 600 x 480 pixels so they will appear on the forum rather than me having to download each time I wish to view. Here is the link to a guide on how to post your pics, hopefully you will find it useful...

Would also like to see pics of both sides looking square on and also looking square onto the stern from both the inside and out.

Would also ask you to study the official build for stages 40 and 41 to ensure you have a good understanding of what is required to be done. Here's the link to the official build diary, this diary and build has been done exactly as per the instructions.

Once this is done then hopefully we can move on to resolving the issue...

Regards

I had a similar issue and I found it was my fault because I hadn't read the instructions properly and didn't soak the lower false deck to bend it. Also I didn't sand the edges of the gallery supports. So the lower false deck didn't follow the curve of the lower edge on the main gallery back piece. So this inturn pushed the sides up like yours has.

So I had to rip it out and start again. Lesson learned. I now read all instructions thoroughly lol

Did you get it sorted?

Think your right to disassemble

you need to check the two gallery formers are correctly positioned and that you have done all the necessary prep described in the instructions. I have no doubt that redoing it with a close eye on the described steps will solve the issue
