Is anyone else experiencing the issue of the Glass not fitting in the cockpit frame, I am a year into the kit, I received the cockpit frame in about two months into the kit, I received the glass much later as you all know, the Glass to the frame doesn't even line up at all, the glass for the Gun Turret rings fit fine, can anyone help.

Since he is asking (and talking about) glass for the cockpit, and turret, I'd imagine that it is indeed the Falcon. As far as I know, there aren't any other kits that are going right now that have both... There are updated parts included at a later date that provide a new cockpit cone, and glass for the Falcon. It seems to vary a bit from country to country, but I'm sure both Tomick and Darbyvet will chime in again! Tired, Old, and Cranky!

Hello, new guy here, but a long time modeler. I was browsing the forums looking for answers to my question about the glass for the cockpit for the millennium falcon and came across this post. Yes the glass will not fit, you can modify the cockpit to make it fit, but that is up to you. I have contacted support and am awaiting a reply. On you tube there many build videos and you can find help on them just by viewing But... in all vids in issue 40 the recipient receives the cockpit glass along with an updated cockpit frame, I did not. So, my question is are we (USA) going to get the updated cockpit frame any time? If not then I will modify mine.

Ok thanks! I've been waiting on this size of kit for years and finally I got my hands on it๐ Such a perfect scale. I will use the wall mount if we get one!

Correct me if I'm wrong . But @Apophis , you're in the U.S. , and you've not received the ' replacement ' cockpit in #40 as well ? . Damn , thought it was just happening over here in Australia . We've got a thread up concerning this on the model space forum as well . Deagostini are looking into it , though they're taking their time to rectify the mistake - assuming Aussie subscribers were sent the ' corrected ' parts ala France and Japan et al .

Yup that's affirmative, I am in the US, I know the kit had started to sell here after the U.K. And the EU, so I expected shipping would be slower, but I didn't think we wouldn't get all of the parts. In several videos that I've seen every issue 40 came with an updated corrected cockpit with the glass for it. But that was in the U.K. And my question was that, will we get the corrected part.

@Apophis , Deagostini rep. got back to us on the Aussie thread approximately 2 weeks ago re; the missing ' revised ' cockpit . Apparently there was some mix - up ( on their end ) , and we weren't supplied the ' corrected ' parts that Japan , France , Germany etc ..had been . Gotta add , @Tomick was a great help in getting this issue put to them ( Deagostini ) on our behalf . Hoping you guys in the U.S. get it sorted out soon too .
P.s. Don't exactly know when or how we're to collect/receive the parts though , we've yet to be notified on that !
Cheers Ged.

Hi Guys, A note regarding the glass; I left mine out. The glare is absolutely hideous, and completely (IMHO) obscures the detail so lovingly crafted. The same applied to the turrets. Tired, Old, and Cranky!
