Its an intriguing title since both Luke and Leia are alive and Kylo and Rey seem to have Jedi powers.I read an article by JJ Abrahms where he said he wished he would have directed episode VIII because the script was so good.

Carl "Jedi" might be both singular and plural, so the title might be intentionally misleading. Also isn't Luke the last Jedi who received any official training? I'm not sure about Kylo Ren, he's quite powerful to be self-taught but he's more of a Sith than a Jedi anyway. Can't wait :) Any images I post on my personal builds are free to be used and shared under Creative Commons Attribution license, which means you can do what you want with them, on the condition you mention I'm the author.

No I think Luke was training a bunch of new Jedi including Kylo Ren and something went wrong and Luke disappeared.I will have to watch episode VII again, but I think that was the story.

Actually you might be right. A re-watch is in order indeed! Any images I post on my personal builds are free to be used and shared under Creative Commons Attribution license, which means you can do what you want with them, on the condition you mention I'm the author.

Luke was training Ben. Ben got influenced by the darkside, became Kylo Rent. Hence Luke felt responsible, so went into hiding. Darren

From the Star Wars wookipedia;
The destruction of a new generation of Jedi, trained by Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, occurred in the years after the Galactic Civil War. It was carried out by Kylo Ren, Skywalker's nephew and one of his apprentices, whose actions left Skywalker's attempt to rebuild the Jedi Order in tatters. Skywalker, the last Jedi, went into exile for years before he was found again by a young Force-sensitive named Rey.

Kylo Ren is a member of the "Knights of Ren" who could be most accurately described as Dark Jedi, (who we have not yet seen.) They are kind of like Sith, but not Sith since there are more than 2. Luke is clearly the "Last Jedi" as I don't believe Leia ever took Jedi training. Though if Luke were to get killed in the next film that could make Rey the "Last Jedi" as well. Either way, the "Return of the Jedi" obviously didn't last very long.
