So, first up is to replace the cast conduits with soft brass rod. I will be using 2 different diameters for this and soft solder wire for the connections to the smoke grenade launchers and search lights. These will be fitted later in the build as I also have weld seams to add with Mr Surfacer and putty. So to start I drilled a hole to allow the new conduit to enter the turret. This will have a weld seam, as will where it meets the junction box. Next was to carefully remove the cast conduit with the Dremel. I am not to worried about any marks left, as the turret will have a surface added all over. Brass rod was then put through the hole and bent to fit the contours of the turret and filed to fit the junction box, again, weld seam to be added. The new conduit then had thin super glue flowed along it to secure it in place. 1 down, 5 to go! Nemesis attached the following image(s):

Hi all and thanks for looking in and your comments. The main conduits are now done. The others will be done as parts are added so I can place them correctly, and the wires will be added when I get the smoke grenade launchers. Next up was to remove the seams from the snorkel tube and start filling and adding welds, and also the seams and fill the gaps on the figure. Nemesis attached the following image(s):
