                Hi everyone
Now we are also happy too have the T-72 in Germany. So i started my own Project, and once again by using Watertransferpressure. I want to change the Comouflage.I do not want anything off the shelf, so I start my modified T-72 tank. I did it once with the Hummer H1,and it was nice to do something else instead of working with Paint. Till now i didn´t put all Parts together because the Parts have to be dismantled anyway. The only thing I have changed at the moment are the brass bushings of the idle Wheel against needle bearings. Then i assembled the track links an pins so far. Last but least i modified the Searchlight.
Now i am just waiting for the transfer foil. It is ordered so the parts should be dipped soon. The camouflage is a modern pattern, but even today, the T-72 are still modernized in some countries, I think everyone should calmly leave his imagination free run,by building and modifying his T-72.
I have now started to prepare the first components for transfer printing, by putting on the base color on the Parts. It is important that the base color fits with the transfer film. By this film I took the basic color must be white. Depending on the color, the basic color of the components is always indicated. I will work on the attachments only with 3 colors, white black and brown. The transfer foil which I need in the size costs 5 euros. But slightly cheaper than spray colors. I already have a lot of experience with water transfer printing, and i think it will work out
. The first pic just shows which pattern it is goiing to be on the T-72. Forum Support Teamhttp://www.model-space.com/de/

But of course I also follow your modifications. I like to learn.
I do not always like things off the shelf, so I try to change them.

What size roller bearings did you use for the drive sprockets? |
