Hi,

Already placed my subscription but awaiting confirmation BigGrin Can't wait for this been looking for a long time.

Agree with Zep would be great if Tomick would be able to complete an offical diary. What does everybody else think????

Hi simon, when i ordered it online i recieved an email confirmation near enough straight away, have you got yours yet?. The only thing which worried me was that there was no order or account number assigned to me with the email. Think i will give C.S. a ring tomorrow.

i put the idea of getting the endevour to the other half a few days ago but got shot down in flames, and now i see the Hood!!!! this has to be done!!! i may be single in the next few days, but that just means more time to build boats!!! just wonder if this will be suitable for r/c?

When you say test do you mean after a couple of months, put a piece of paper in a edition saying that there will be no more being published for the forseeable future like they did to build the victory a couple of years ago? proper annoyed me that did. Mad especially as they never offered any compensation for all the ones i bouught from the shop.

As far as i understand it yes you are right. Build the hms hood was released in my area a few years ago but they canceled it after 4 or 5 issues if i remember rightly and i was very unhappy about it. Im hoping this is the proper release but this is what i found in another forum about this partwork.

'I've just been to my local WH Smiths and they tell me this is not a national release and is only available in a test area.'

A lot of people on this and other forums have been waiting a long time for this. I would have thought that admin would have been on the forum by now to answer our questions.

I subscribed to the Hood.
Have to see what comes. DeAg said the first parts should be through within 14 days.

I looked through the latest copy of Model Boats and found a 128th scale HMS Hood by Deans marine

The hull is GRP and costs £137. The fittings come in at £352. Not seen the finished ship though

I sent an email to CS and this is what I put....

'Hi, just wanted firstly to say thanks for bringing this out, ive been hoping and waiting for ages for this. My questions are, is this going on general sale in newsagents or just available through your web site and can you confirm that this is the full release of the partwork and not just a test.
Thank you'

Have just recieved this reply....

'Thank you for your email and please accept our profound apologies for the delayed response.

All other things being equal, this is a planned partwork launch.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require further assistance.'

We will have to wait and see but hope this is true.
