An attempt at the stern emblem at 1/72 in boxwood, only half way there but had to have a rest. (ran out of plasters). The photo has been perspective corrected on a paint program to give a better idea of the shape. willz attached the following image(s):

Nice work Willz, though the Prince of Wales plume of feather's did not adorn the stern of Victory in 1805, in actual fact the plume did not appear on Victory until 1837 after being salvaged from HMS Prince (also at Trafalgar).
What was actually in place of the plume is still subject to ongoing research, though has been narrowed to two possibilities, either King George III's coat of arms or a medallion featuring the bust of the king, the latter is believed to be the most likely.
Apparently once what was is confirmed the plume will be removed and replaced, though it is also possible that what was may never be confirmed.
I might add that the guns and flag either side of the plume is correct for the 1805 Victory.

14 plasters 3 bandages 2 stitches and a tetanus injection later, here we are. Broke the right hand side axe off as we look at it (glued it back on) so decided to leave it at that before I did more damage. lol willz attached the following image(s):

Back in the garage, done the first row of gun ports found it a bit tedious. Also I left out the supports where the rear gun ports are, just to give me the choice to leave them open. Done a bit on the scratch, I used a different design to shape the bows, again this will allow me to have the front gun ports open. I had to temporally pin on the top deck to give the ribs more stability for fairing. with the top deck being 5 mm I had to put grooves in the underside to allow for the camber Willz willz attached the following image(s):

Ok SOB this is where I am with the scratch, just dug it out of the garage, not much progress but you can see the stern has a different structure than the AL. The last photo shows where I build my small projects in the computer room, almost impossible to build the ship Willz willz attached the following image(s):
