I decided to try the drill supplied with the fee took kit. Is there some thing wrong with mine or is it just poor quality, the chuck does not run true and if I use it on a thin bit I will bend or break the bit. The end of a 1mm bit scribes a circle of 3 to 4mm.

Has anyone else had a similar problem?

I have also broken drill bits and it fell apart, I took it apart to see if I could repair it and it is badly made.

HI VENICE
That is exactly the same as the one i brought and drill set found the bits are brittle if care is not taken, the drill gets better with use 100% happy with mine. i also brought a 150pc min micro drill set for a tenner ,sizes from 0.4mm to 3.2mm,smaller sizes go up in 0.1mm increments and come in tens and the larger in 0.2mm increments been very good set and has spare sizes when i break a bit.BigGrin

sorry cant put on link have not figured out how to do it yet. Confused

Thanks for the advise and comments

Unfortunately living in South Africa is a problem with most of the mail order firms and were they do send to RSA and the postage cost makes expensive.
