On Issue 45 instruction 22 it says;- Then lay two rows of planks from the bow all the way back onto frame 30 and the upper false deck at the rear of the gallery. Repeat this on both sides of the deck. Should these planks over lap onto the gallery section as it leaves a gap on the deck support beams at frames 27 28 29 You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

It needs to be exactly as per the step photo at step 22.
Presumably you saw my diary note about step 19 being to frame 25 and Not 24

Tomick, do you think it would be better to do the rib painting before the planks are placed, rather than use masking tape to protect them, as knowing my painting skills even doing this simple bit I'm probably going to drip paint somewhere. Come on you Jimmies

I have now Tomick but its only a quick fix. I use black electrical tape cut into 2mm strips for the caulking lines superglued between the strips of planking - works quite well and does not "bleed" You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

No reason why not, also when it comes to the lining the inside of the bulwarks you could also paint the bottom plank closest to the deck line before gluing it in place.
