This is interesting, I didn't know they make a multi-component primer. I'm always using Mr Surfacer 1500 thinned 50/50 with MLT, it will be interesting to see how this one is behaving. Hi All Made up the dash board with the bezels, switches and pre-cut glass panels, I then added the Shelby Plaque with polishing/buffed area and the Archway logo, both were included with the kit. Next job was the steering wheel made from cast, etch and plastic part along with a couple of decals and flat rivets to add to the mahogany colored grip. Once assembled both were added to the car. The front inner wheel wells were added to the chassis aswelL. The body shell and inner resin panels were next on the agenda with some light sanding to remove any casting lines and then screwed/glued in position. These include the rear/front wheel wells, cockpit sides around the door area and front air intakes scoops. Couldnt resist trying the body on the chassis as the last two pics show. Lots of prepping to do on the body work and panels, more soon . looks stunning Andy.I have had issues with mating the body shell to the body with some MFH kits, but this looks like it fits like a glove. You had better slow down or it will be finished soon!! You are making building these kits look really easy when in fact they are quite challenging.A testament to your modelling skills making it look so easy!! Setting the bar very high for 2017 BOTY competition.
