This photo is moving further aft showing the location of the forward accommodation space hatch. The actual hatch is made later on in the part-works which is why it isn't fitted here.

Moving further aft, you can see where I've marked out the outline of the modified Type 4 conning tower. A more extensive post on this part of the build will follow shortly.

That concludes this part of the build; fixing the hinged covers on the top deck in readiness for the conning tower and mahogany planking.

Hi Phil, no more info as of yet.

I was thinking of emailing Revell to see if I could get the plans from them. Worth a try I suppose.

If you can have a think of the of that book or where you saw these details that would be very much appreciated.

I will try all of these avenues first before I spend money on a 1/72 model.
