Hi all am new to the forum and awaiting the first delivery of the r2d2 build never done a build like this before the closest I have got is doing the odd airfix models is there any tools you would recommend for this type of build thanks for any advice

Welcome to the forum, hope you enjoy your build With regards to tools there are very few needed. A good set of small screwdrivers might be useful as well as some tweezers, you'll also need super glue for some parts. When using super glue it will be useful to have some cocktails sticks too, you then tip some glue into a container, I use daily contact lenses cases, then you just dip the cocktail stick in the glue and apply it to the part. The beauty of using cocktail sticks is that it gives you much more control helping you not to flood the piece you are sticking with too much glue . You kind the instructions are pretty straight forward and as long as you follow them you won't have any problems assembling your R2

Thanks for the welcome unfortunately the build is on hold recived issue number 2 and 3 today but not number 1 had a look round the shops but could not find it so will have to wait till number 1 gets sent
