So far as cars go, a 1/8 scale 1969 Dodge Charger R/T, in orange and with Roll cage and optional door numbers and rebel flag would be amazing. Or a Modified 1973 Ford Falcon XB GT Coupe in black with a really large blower. 1958 Plymouth Fury in red? 1980 Lamborghini Countach LP 400S in black with a front spoiler? 1976 Ford Gran Torino in red (With optional white flash on each side). 1968 Ford Mustang GT390 Fastback? Frankenstein’s customized 1970 Chrevrolet Corvette from "Death Race 2000". Mr. Miyagi’s 1948 Ford Super De Luxe from "The Karate Kid". The 1971 Plymouth ‘Cuda from "Phantasm". Frank’s 1995 BMW 735i from "The Transporter". [Edit]: 1917 issue Model T Ford anyone? I really fancy doing one in Yellow! All of these are fantastic motors in their own right, and will have the added draw to film fans who will probably recognise the cars. If you're looking for SF properties that are NOT Star Wars, then how about the following. NSEA Protector from Galaxy Quest Starbug from Red Dwarf Valley Forge from Silent Running UD-4L Cheyenne-class Dropship from Aliens The Gunstar from The Last Starfighter The Milano from Guardians Of The Galaxy SA-23E Mitchell-Hyundyne Starfury from Babylon 5 SHADO Interceptor from UFO Eagle Transporter from Space: 1999 Current Builds Eaglemoss: Ecto-1, BTTF Delorean [Installing Mods] Hachette: T800 Endoskeleton Agora Models Shelby Cobra 427 [Plate 031] BanDai 1:5000 Imperial Star Destroyer AMT 1991 U.S.S. I'd love to build a "Christine" (in fact, I'm building one right now), but the book and movie are actually wrong in calling her a 58 Plymouth Fury. It's actually a 58 Plymouth Belvedere. ;-)

Seems possible to me that the movie company wanted to use a Fury, but couldn't get hold of enough to produce the film with, so had to settle for the Belvedere instead. So once again, the modeller has to choose what they are doing. Do they make a model of a car used in a film, and get a model of the Belvedere, or do they step within the fiction and get the Fury? I leave that for you to decide. The Valley Forge from Silent Running brings back memories of that movie - That would be an interesting build. How about Huey, Dewy, and Louie 1/2 size.

You can buy a Valley Forge resin kit and Huey and Dewy as resin kits too.The robots are pretty small, but you could use them as a reference for a scratchbuild http://www.ebay.com/itm/...s-031HM01-/151698323105

That is an interesting model and I would love to build it, but I have so many right now - and the price is a little steep when Im trying to save up for the Deag Mustang.

@Roger Unfortunately not 1/2 scale, but Destiny models do a set at 1/4 scale. I already have one, and am hoping to get the other two this year. I had a slight accident with the one I had, and some of the plastruct sections melted. I plan to ask for replacements to be send when I order the others. Or this? You can appeal to more than one genre of modeller. A partwork called "Enterprise" Tall ship, modern aircraft carrier, space shuttle. should interest ship modellers, military modellers, and SF modellers. Its a good idea to keep unassociated idea's to being separate posts otherwise they'll get lost among.
