I think I used a light tan primer last time.

The weather certainly can put paid to painting operations.

Still its all moving along so that has to be a good thing.

Hope it all continues well for you.
Happy Modelling

I was having a hell of a time assembling the front section because I coy dot get the screws all the way down. After reading a few posts I discovered the dish soap trick and man does it work great.

Can I ask what the dish soap trick is? I'm only a couple of issues in to this build but it sounds like it could be a useful trick.

I coat the screws in dish detergent and then screw them into the holes before assembly.

Did some assembly on this today. Got a few more things to do. Need to get some parts swapped out of the museum first. Then get this chassis back in the display case.

Decided to go ahead and do one side of the suspension tonight. Stopping here cause I am not in the mood to boil the tire.

All looking very neat and tidy.

A good place to halt if time is against you as you do not to go rushing in and causing yourself any issues.

I'm curious if you get much feedback form patrons of the museum?

I don't know, I haven't had much conversation with the head of the museum lately to ask. I saw her for a few seconds as she was headed out the door and she did say that they had over 150 kids there today and some of them enjoyed looking at it. I think it will garner more attention as it gets farther along plus summer season is starting soon and attendance will be up so we will see.
