The both halves of the final frame need to be flush with the keel following its angle down, looks like you have a couple of mm to go

hi tomick and all others,

you know when you have one of them eureka moments.... i just had one with your post and all has became clear. i have now sanded the stern pieces so they are flush with the false keel and think i am ready to start planking, which will hopefully start tomorrow as its not quite so messy and the wife gets a bit Cursing with me with all the sawdust over the furniture.

Thank you all for your help as i am a total thicky when it comes to wooden boat building, im more of a plastic kit builder, my lifelong hobby. its good to get out of the comfort zone.

Take it one step at a time and be patient, we've all been there!

Can I suggest you adjust your member name to justabbs1977 to avoid your email address being on open display to avoid junk mail etc Blink
