Would be great if you could get some pictures Derek? Hi All, Took me a bit longer to get to see the winter restoration of NX611 (Just Jane) than I expected, but get there I did. A bit sad to see her in a disassembled state like this, but happy to know it`s all going to be for the best. Below is a link to the "Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Museum", where you can see what`s going on at the centre and find out about upcoming events. I can highly recommend a visit. Home of "Just Jane" NX611So, I paid a visit and took a pictorial circuit of NX611, removed parts and work in progress. I didn`t know which pics to post, so you`ve got the lot. Hope you enjoy. Great pics Derek, she looks in great shape for her age and once the work is done she will have a shiny new paintjob.

Fantastic pictures Derek, and thank you for sharing them. I am so glad they managed to raise the money to get her airworthy again. I can't wait to see her flying majestically over the English country side.

Hi, Thanks for looking and comments. It was a pleasure to take these pictures, especially as I arrived on site a few minutes after opening time and that meant I had a free run of the hanger, with only two restoration workers and no other visitors. Well spotted Tomick, that is indeed a DC3 and it`s the museums flying exhibit (also undergoing it`s winter overhaul). DC3 External pics from a previous visit on the link below. Around the DC3I also have a selection of pics from inside the DC3 if anyone`s interested. It`s in near original condition, minus the paratroopers seats, but includes a bullet hole in a very lucky pilots seat. Thanks again Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

Absolutely fantastic. There is a lot of work ahead for this project. This is what you could call a full size Airfix Kit. BUILDING - HONDA CB750 - HAYNES V8 VISIBLE ENGINE
