Thats a new one on me. Like the idea of the water based product as i end up throwing away so many fillers through storage. Happy Modelling

Looks interesting, look forward to your results. Will you be testing it for sanding too?, as Its usually the sanding properties that let some of them down as they can tend to pit and leave a grainy finish. Steve

Always good to have another putty.I have been using plastic putty on the USAF planes and I really like it.Doesnt shrink, easy to apply and sands nicely

Look forward to this Andy, just so happens I have been looking for some new putty as my green has gone off. I got £20 birthday money so new paint brushes and filler are coming my way.. Chris On the bench 1/350 Revell Tirpitz Platinum Edition (Pontos PE and Wooden deck) plus extra Eduard PE set and extra MK1 door sets.

Hi All Used this a couple of times now it squeezes out like toothpaste has good gap filling quality's and sands back well. I use this stuff: Being made for proper automotive use, it doesn't shrink, sands really smooth and dries quickly. Also - you get a flippin' big tin for under a tenner. My tin is over a year old and is still soft and like new. (The contents - not the tin...lol) Mind you, I'll have a go with the one at the top of the post - it looks as if it could be very good. roymattblack attached the following image(s):

As a general rule of thumb, be mindful that some automotive fillers can soften or eat into model kit plastic., most standard types tend to be designed for use on metal and separate types for plastic or fibreglass use.
