I'm not going to start my E Type build just yet as I want to collect a good few parts first, so I can enjoy a long building session instead of 5-10 minute chunks each week. However, I think I've pretty much decided that I will change the colour of the interior. I don't have anything yet in the way of the actual kit seats or interior panels but hopefully, when they turn up stripping them and recovering in fine leather should be fun. I've made leather seats etc for numerous models, and added leather to others such as the big DB5. When I get 'up and running' I'll post a 'how to do it' thread for anyone who fancies giving it a try. Below are some leather seats I've done before. 1st is an E Type... Roy. roymattblack attached the following image(s):

Beautiful work there Roy. You are obviously a very skilled modeler. I think I will keep to the stock kit,as I don't want to make a bodge job of my E-type. But if you are skilled enough, why not! BUILDING - HONDA CB750 - HAYNES V8 VISIBLE ENGINE

Roy I will follow along. With you on this one as any hints and tips would be very welcome. Still no firm decision on what route i take but looking at the trial seat cushion the logic says unstichbthiscand the in theory gives you the correct size templates to be cut in a different colour. The rest though is a big unknown in terms of floor pan and door coverings. its certainly going to keep my mind occupied Happy Modelling

Hi, Personally I'll be sticking with the supplied ones but judging by the pics of your previous work you obviously have the skills and knowledge to do your own, I'll be watching with interest to see what you come up with May.
