Okay, I know this model is aimed mainly towards children, as a teaching method to show how an internal combustion engine works, but as I have had this for a few years now, still unopened in its box, it's about time I got it built. It will give me something else to do, as well as building my Honda CB750 and waiting for my E-type Jag parts to arrive. As I am still a big kid at heart. I thought I might do a build diary on this at the same time. Who is up for it? Answers here please. Geoff44 attached the following image(s): BUILDING - HONDA CB750 - HAYNES V8 VISIBLE ENGINE
NEXT BUILD - JAGUAR E-TYPE

Hi Geoff, I`ve never seen one of these put together, so I`m interested to see what comes of it when built. Personally, I like the old engines you could get hands on with. Now I`m in the older age bracket and have a modern engine/car I`m happy to let the "TECH" boys link up their computers and deal with the servicing etc. Good luck with the build, memories are coming back already. Regards delboy271155 (Derek) Yes I remember when I used to do most of my own repairs on the older cars and bikes, but we have moved on to a more technological age, where you have to let the experienced do repairs. Well the response has been favorable for a build diary on this V8 engine build, so lets get the diary set up ready. It will appear on the Other Models Build Forum. I've been tempted by this kit as my own car is a V8, with the daft idea of adding a bit of paint and weathering in places to add a tad more realism. (I'm a big kid too...)
I'll be following along.

Look forward to seeing your build Geoff, my lad made the 4 cylinder version. I then used it to show him the workings of an engine and how it powers a car. Chris On the bench 1/350 Revell Tirpitz Platinum Edition (Pontos PE and Wooden deck) plus extra Eduard PE set and extra MK1 door sets.
