Hi All, Now that all the masts have their sails, I decided to revisit Issue 109 and paint the figurehead. Sorry guys, no high-res macro shots here, it looks like a Neanderthal did the lettering.  There are much better examples on other builds. Fitting the figurehead was as per the instructions – once fitted, I ran some more super glue in behind the shield and then quickly sprayed the activator, just to make sure everything is properly stuck. Once the figurehead was secure, I tied off all the loose rigging below it and fitted the Spritsail and yard. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I will leave all the small boats for a bit. It makes sence to me to build them all together – well we’ll see??? Started Issue 110 and fitted the Sprit topsail & yard. That completes Issue 110 - 3.5 hours. Garth Hi Garth. Martyn did some excellent work on his flags for his SOTS build and it certainly was an improvement on what was supplied. Take a look, it may be more to your liking.... http://forum.model-space...sts&t=6314&p=27

Yet another brilliant update Garth . The great thing about using PVA as it dull,s down the bright colours of the flags and makes them more realistic plus you can fold them as you want them and they stay in shape Hope this helps m8 rgd Martyn Building ?

Hi All, Just a small update today. Completed Issue 114. Fitted anchors and bowsprit yard braces. No real curve balls here all went pretty much according to the instructions. Time 2.5 hours.
