Great update CarlBigGrin is that the self adhesive Eduard set you`ve used ?regards PhilCool

yes although the term "self adhesive" is a bit of a stretch. You really need to glue these parts down as the adhesive is very weak.

F16

The F-16 cockpit is done.I actually did 2 of these. One will be with a pilot and one will be without. The seat is installed after the cockpit tub is mated to the upper body.

F4

I had bought an Esci 1/48 F4 that had the thunderbird decal set.As I started building this kit it was rapidly apparent that it was not a good kit at all.The cockpit tub and instrument panel parts were just flat pieces of plastic. No detail. The fit was poor and the surface detail was not good at all.So I decided to go for Hasegawas 1/48 F4 II kit.Surface detail is excellent and the cockpit is much better.I will be using an Eduard cockpit set with this and will have to pick up Warbird decals Thunderbirds livery for this kit if the Esci decals dont fit (which I doubt they will).

Here is the box art.

Hi Carl you seem to have had your fair share of bad luck with the kits you first sourced for this projectCursing here`s hoping you don`t have any more setbacks Cool regards PhilBigGrin

The f4 cockpit is finished. The hasegawa kit is really nice.I used Eduard cockpit detail set again.I left off the seat belts because they are almost the same color as the seats and wont be visible through the canopy.

So I just have the F105 cockpit to do and then all of the cockpits are finished and it will be time to start building the rest of the planes. And painting lots of silver and white.Lots of silver and white. And lots of decals.
