Just watched the latest episode of Car SOS featuring replacing the wires on a Mk2 Jaguar wheel which I guess is the same wheel used on the E Type. Can't wait to get started on these 72 spoke beauties. Happy modelling

No - not the same wheels.
The Mk2 were 5 x 15 wheels.
The E Type were 6.5 x 15.
Some people put the E Type wheels on the Mk2 but they risked fouling at the front on sharp cornering.
Back to the kit - the wheels look quite easy to assemble if you take your time.
If you want REALLY awkward wire wheels, have a go at one of the classic Pocher kits.
You'll tear your hair out.

this has to be my most favourite car of all time, got part one of this the other week, and the weight of that bonnet, lets say, very heavy, i really think i will do this build, i have subscribed and i will see how it goes.
